« back to classes page

Learn how to advance your drawing techniques through the use of composition. We will explore the concepts of object placement on the page and how they can lead the viewer's eye, engage them and even set a mood. Create compelling drawings by learning about foreground and background, patterns, shapes, focal points, and direction. Experiment with different kinds of traditional composition concepts that help you to understand where to put your objects on the page and how to properly crop them. Drawing for Beginners 2 helpful, but not required. Students must supply materials listed on confirmation and website.
