« back to classes page
Let’s have some fun learning to play “America,” “Moon River,” and “When the Saints Go Marching In” on the harmonica. Designed for men and women, beginner and intermediate players, this seminar will teach you the basics for a lifetime of enjoyment, playing timeless oldies and goodies. Can’t read music: No problem.
Blowing and drawing on the harmonica can improve lung health and possibly delay the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. We will cover breathing patterns, hand and throat vibrato, how to play the major diatonic scale, commit a song to memory, and much, much more. We will use the diatonic 10-hole harmonica in the key of C, available for $10 at class.
Materials: $20 at class.
