This summer camp gives young instrumental musicians (grades 3 - 9) the opportunity to play together and improve their musical skills while exploring, rehearsing and performing classical and light popular music. Open to violin, viola, cello, string bass, woodwind, brass and percussion students, musicians must have basic technical skill on their instrument, be able to read music notes, know basic rhythms, play with good intonation and be an active member of school band/orchestra, area youth symphony or private student.
All players audition by playing a short segment from a prepared piece of music and sight read for the Director. Contact Pamela Buck at (916) 965-5704 to schedule your audition.
