Save your air conditioning this summer and learn to cook an entire meal outside. With summer here, who doesn't enjoy grilling dinner outside? Among other things, Pitmaster Patrick Stiltner will teach you the basics on how to start a charcoal, wood or gas grill; achieve and maintain temperature; direct and indirect cooking methods; different cuts of meats (beef, chicken & pork) perfect for grilling; marinades and sauces; and how to determine when meats are done. Along with appetizers, side dishes such as grilled vegetables and potatoes will also be covered. And don't forget the dessert! Grilled fruits over ice cream will complement an entire meal cooked outdoors. This is a hands-on class, participants will eat what they cook.
